10 Finalists are chosen!
After two thrilling semifinal rounds the jury chose 10 finalists for the Opera Gala on September 5th, 7.30 pm at Semperopera Dresden.
On Saturday, August 29th the jury chose the following finalists:
Soprano Julia Amos, 31 years old, from München, Deutschland.
Bariton Seung Gi Jung, 31 years old, from Seoul, Südkorea.
Mezzosoprano Sarah Ferede, 27 years old, from Hannover, Deutschland.
Soprano Sharin Apostolou, 28 years old, from New York, USA.
Tenor Minseok Kim, 26 years old, from Seoul, Südkorea
Soprano Evgenia Afanasieva, 30 years old Jahre alt, from Moscow, Russia.
Mezzosoprano Irina Shishkova, 26 years old, from St. Petersburg, Russia.
Soprano Olga Pudova, 28 years old from St. Petersburg, Russia.
Bass Donovan Singletary, 27 years old, from Florida, USA.
Soprano Mandy Fredrich, 31 Jahre years old, from Belzig, Deutschland.

SINGING COMPETITION STARTED!
The worldwide auditions of the Competizione dell´Opera 2010 started successfully in March.
Already 52 talented singers out of more than 130 participants could qualify for the semifinal in Dresden in the preliminary rounds, 15 of them in San Francisco, 23 in Moskau, 15 in St. Petersburg and 12 in New York City. Congratulations!
The Final will take place on September 5th 2010 in the Semper Opera in Dresden!
